It's highly inappropriate to make political statements in the title of a picture. The accusation that this place was ethnically cleansed is highly controversial. The Arab residents left voluntarily in 1948 because they were promised by neighboring Arab countries that joining forces with them they will be able to defeat the new State of Israel. Now that it is clear that they cannot achieve that, they claim "ethnic cleansing", a cheap shot. But in any case, it does not belong in the title of a picture.

NJ Les, don't apologize for being ignorant, just read the last book of the israeli historian Ilan Pappe, of maybe you will prefer the zionist Benny Morris, they both show with evidences that it was clearly an ethnic cleansing...

MMR, it's unfortunate that the Palestinians saw it fit to abandon the village and they no longer live there. But I repeat, it is inapproriate to make a political charged statement in the title of a photo. Let the veiewrs look up the facts and decide for themselves, the pictures in Google should be just that; PICTURES

No NJ Les... we the palestinian are awake to make a statement for the truth and ask for our rights. in pictures, videos, words, and spechesh. It's part of our cause and existence.
It's so weierd that you are concerned about using a picture for politics while the media in the world and especially the US and Israel are using all kinds of media in thier fights against the truth.

it is appropriate to give title to this picture in accordance to the history written by historians (otherwise zionists should change the names of most of the israeli cities in Israel and jewish colonies in occupied Palestine, in fact they use archeology to get more land). The lost of 78% of Palestine is not "unfortunate", its a crime condemned by all UN resolution till now. You don't like the title ? good, believe me, it makes me happy...
