Yellow Dot Landscape

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

I looked it up. It is by Menashe Kadishman he calls it Three Disks, (1967) Why yellow? To stand out in bleak Toronto winter months.

It is in the north of the park, kind of hidden.

Hlavo, thanks for the sign of life (nice head, don't recognize the features - any significance?

Yellow goes well with the blue sky. It might represent the sun rising up.

My real opinion is I would like the landscape better without the yellow dots. This kind of art just doesn't belong in a nature scene like this.

A great photo without question. Like3

Have a nice evening,

I like the juxtaposition. especially in winter a bit of colour is needed.
