a terminus for ghosts..great sky
True, LM! Hope your keeping well! This was the site of Ireland's first Railway murder!!! This was the first city station that closed to passengers as early 1933 eventually closing totally early 1960's! The design is egyptian inspired, not doubt helping the ghosts within!!!
Warmest regards as always!
Love this shot :)Station look's very monumental, but it's restless too..
Greetings from Milanówek ;)
Hi Tomek, Hope your well! delighted you like this!!!
There was plans maybe to reopen it to trains/trams maybe! not sure will it happen! the building must sense it..... sits and waits!
Warmest regards from Dublin
The building is not abandoned. It's just not used at present (regretfully) for what it was originally built for.
True seamie, but it's abandoned as a railway terminus since the 30's and the rails to the sheds and good yard in the 60's You never know broadstone might see light rail again!
