I just checked your flora tag, Ian it will give me so much pleasure to go through. A close friend of mine had his wedding in January 2009. These lovely flowers were also in the bouquets.

I presume the wedding was in NL and the flowers were gown in hothouses somewhere in Europe, or was your friend's wedding in Australia, Erik?

My elder daughter loves Australian and South African natives. Her wedding bouquets and most arrangements anywhere she is are 'natives'.

Do enjoy the wander through my floral gallery.

Best wishes,

Infect I'm not sure if they are grown here in NL or they are imported from elsewhere. I know Banksia and Protea's are imported and not locally grown.

I will upload one of these wedding bouquets for you.

I would be most impressed but not surprised at the ingenuity of the Netherlanders if they were grown there in some artificial environment.

I look forward to seeing the wedding photo, Erik.

It is a joy to share Australian flora with you, Jean. And thanks for the Y*.

And how I love N Carolina & "the Mecklenburg of the US".
