Sydneysiders love the water, and the reasons are obvious as well in this aerial!

Dear Eva,

I am very pleased to have this picture to share with you, and that you like it. As best I can estimate, we would have been at 5000M and I was using a telephoto lens.

Sincerely,

Ian

Alan, Thanks for visiting the gallery and finding an aerial that delights me, too.

Here, we certainly get more sunshine and I am fortunate to live in this magnificant city. The sun shone for week when I was last in Edinburgh, and for a week of touring from Carlisle to Oban and Aberdeen. My point is that when the sun shines on Scotland and its cities, I am enthralled by the colours and beauty and variety of your rural and urban landscapes, too.

Then the North Sea fog rolled in and my ancestral Aberdeen disappeared. I am sure you have tried driving in such conditions, I had to, for I was due somewhere else in the country for work and just had to leave the bonnie mists, but I wish I had had time for some remarkable photography in those conditions.

Warm early summer here today, so I send sunny best wishes.
