Burial Chamber in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg
Raeuberhoehle (meaning "robber hole") is located in a woodland by a main road running north from the town of Schleswig off the B201.
The site is signposted and you can park in a large bus stop and walk 200 or so metres southwards towards the tomb.
A sign in German explains about the site but it is a large mound in good condition. On the southern side is a stone-lined entrance to a single internal chamber which measures 4.3m long, 1.8m wide and 1.5m high.
Despite its easy access there were no signs of any offerings or vandalism.
