Hotel Villa Naranjos from the 1960's, which projects all the sublime misery and depression of a workers tower block on the outskirts of Moscow, even in full sunshine. Painting the prison bars white really makes little difference. Also brings to mind the marvellous desolation of the Newport Tower Motel on the A38 in Glos.

Totalitarian aesthetics of both left and right have a lot in common.

I saw the contest button and just had to vote. It belongs right up there with some of the other photos that have won the contest!

"I saw the contest button and just had to vote. It belongs right up there with some of the other photos that have won the contest!" _ lol! Excellent backhander! _ Yes... well technically it turned out OK, which is gratifying, but its not a thing of beauty that I'd want printed up large and on my wall...collections of ugliness should be kept hidden away from the light of day, and enjoyed in solitary perverse pleasure.. like pRoN... ps Thank you for your vote
