This Clock Tower is known as Chatham Street Clock Tower. Zero Point for A1-Colombo-Kandy Road and A2-Colombo-Galle-Hambantota-Wellawaya Road is located at the bottom of this Clock Tower
This is not only a Clock Tower, but the only Light House known to be in the world located inside the land. The Light House is not functioning now, but has been preserved for the future generation. A new light house has been built near the shore just few meters away from this old light house.
