Hope it all went well. I thought about you when the temp broke 100 up here in Montana. Guess I warned you it would be hot!

I think the average afternoon temperature we found was around 107 degrees. We took your advice and started up Delicate Arch at 6:00 am. We were back down by 9:00 and grateful for the guidance. My knee held out enough so I could do a couple of the moderate hikes, and I can't say I missed the strenuous ones.
