Thanks, Roger and Anne. We tried to go to a sing-along, but when we arrived the room was full. So we drove to an overlook and waited for the sun to set. Much nicer than a sing-along! "Music" for the eyes instead of the ears!

Thanks, Rich, Alex, and Syl. I know how frustrating it is, Alex, when there's a great sunset but no chance for a photo. And Syl, we have much from you to look forward to!!

It was really frustrationg Marilyn, it had so nice colours. The Palete started with a brown on the bottom, then some red, orange and yellow, going up for green then blue, was fantastic.

Cheers,

Alex

It sounds very beautiful--and very frustrating!

My most frustrating plane experience was when we flew around clouds that were producing tornadoes which killed more than 200 people, though of course we didn't know that yet. Do you know tornadoes? Storms that produce funnel-shaped clouds that do great damage when they touch ground. But the clouds! Like those of thunderstorms but gigantic--much taller, and larger at the top than at the bottom. Breathtaking! No camera!!

Thanks, YBMW and steandeb from long ago, and Bjørn today. I know that each sunset was different, but this one was like none I'd ever seen before, looking almost as though it were painted with a giant brush! Greetings from Canada. Marilyn
