A mid 19th century public house, built in brick with a gabled tile roof. The lower story has fluted pilasters and windows with etched decoration. The building was locally listed in 1985.
The small side window still carries the name of an old licensee, Samuel Canlett. At the time many licensees, such as Samuel, had a second occupation. He conducted both of his businesses from the Swan. He was not only a publican but also a pork butcher
