Thanks, Liliane, what a nice compliment.
Wow! What a great portrait of this Shawn family! Spring is almost here and this family will have the opportunity to do that again in a short while! Well done!

Very nice photo, Doerthe. Definitely a picture worth a thousand words! Cheers, Patty
You are being very kind about my photos and I appreciate your responses very much, Patty!
Thank You Doerthe for visiting and for nice comments. Our national bird is "Laulujoutsen" (direct translation: Singing Swan -Cygnus cygnus). They are not very aggressive, but if neccesary they will defend their family - very big white swans! Nowadays very common here, but some decades ago very rare, because they use to hunt them and eat! Nice Gallery Like, Joni
It could be that the "Trumpeter Swan" is similar to your swan. But I think they have a black bill. I saw several Tundra Swans last year on their migrating route.
Thank you very much, Joni, for your nice comment. It is wonderful to find other bird lovers in the world.
