Dear Yan! I saw on TV, that in Autsralia again high wind and inclement weather!

I hope that harm will be minimum and nobody will suffer!

Let a storm pass by Sydney and your home.

Best wishes. Eva

Dear Eva,

I believe that Melbourne has had high winds, and 2 people were killed: a woman died when crushed by a falling wall, and a building worker fell to his death when scaffolding came down. I understand the main damage was to small boats moored at jetties along the southern coast between Adelaide and Melbourne. Sydney and Melbourne are about the same distance apart as Kiev and Moscow.

We had some windy weather this morning but it was only strong enough to blow some leaves or papers around. The wind came with a change and while it was 25C last night at 10pm, tonight it is 16C.

Thank you for thinking of us, Eva, and for your concern and love. It is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Yan

Dear Eva, once again.

Here is a picture taken on that wild windy day that Melbourne experienced on Tuesday.
