David & Nadia it sure was an unusual sight to see all these bikes on a place you are more use to seeing cars. this is the best bend to show the view the best yes i was up on the over pass to get this. i rode my bike down here to get the shots you see here camera in my back pack. thanks. steve

Guy & Art the start point was just around that bend and i though the curve to the bridge i was on would make a good shot. thanks i did check out the shots art it cased a great debate that cyclists where given the freeway by many at work i had my ride on the freeway and i was happy with the photos. steve.

Steve111, The NYC 5 Borough Bicycle tour was created to show noncyclists that bikes also have a place on the road and that the road should be safely shared. This very popular ride is now in its 33rd year. It is very well organized and local bike club members volunteer to keep up its reputation as a safe and enjoyable event. there are 1,500 volunteers (700 riding marshals, 800 stationary Tour Corps volunteers) to keep 30,000 cyclists moving along safely. Art i followed the map in NY they should do this more often here as the interest was very high. by the crowd and i am only just joining the following. i enjoy leaving the car at home and ride to work. thanks. steve
