This one is beautifull! I really like the red reflection detail on the other ladybug. And the framing is perfect. All your work is very refined. Amazing gallery. I wonder if I will ever have that 'touch' to shoot great photos!

Thanks Vasco for the compliment. I should give credit to the city of Tokyo for making these images so abundant. It's almost like as if when they design a building or a park or a bridge or playground they design it with us photographers in mind.
I think I will grow old before I run out of things to photograph in a place like that.

This is another great shot Andrew. In my opinion, you could crop out the upperside of the frame, to improve the presence of the two ladybugs.
Ciao, Franco :)

Thanks for that Franco. I gave your suggestion a thought, but it is possible to reach a point in cropping where the subject you are photographing looses its contextual meaning. When you are doing something like photographing another persons artwork then you sometimes need to be careful that you are not just doing just that and nothing more. The photographer often needs to be aware that he/she should always try to strike a correct balance between highlighting the object in question and including parts of the pictorial environment in which that object resides. As you know, this can sometimes be a very fine line and I know from experience that I don't always get it right. But the really good thing about photography is that there is always a fresh opportunity tomorrow. Best regards, -AR.

Awww, I love ladtbugs, these are just too cute. My fiance and I hope to travel to Japan one day after we're married. It's a place we both want to visit.

Thank you MagentaHaze. I hope you get to see these just as they appear here. Visit the office tower district of Shinjuku and maybe you will find some other little surprises as well.
