Dear Toto,

It certainly would be common in western Patagonia to see lenticular clouds, I'd surmise. Of course the geographical arrangement is very much the same here in South Island with the range of high peaks lifting the westerly winds and generating the waves that create the lenses of cloud.

Thank you for your appreciative comments also. It is a joy to share with you.

Best wishes,

Ian

Thankyou very much for your gracious and affirming conversations, Hazel. I am very pleased to connect others to your special cloud above your special mountain. We have talked about rocks, gardens, and clouds, and portraits, and watercolours, and morning teas, and craft shops in the Connemarra .... these are a few of my favourite things.

Brightest blessings,

Ian

Thank you Ivanna. Not very colourful, or serene: a different mood. But, it is fascinating and dynamic.

Warm regards,

Ian
