Thank you Rainer. Once I could find Japanese glass fish floats and Saki bottles on the beach which had drifted from Japan. Once I found a bottle with a note in it from Japan. I have not found any of these in recent years, but many things still wash up on the beaches.

It is a blown glass ball so has no opening. But these marks were scratched onto its surface.
