A fascinating landscape, May, and it draws me into it to study the landforms and the human occupancy of the area. But then the water filled crater just doesn't belong there! Quite a fascinating piece of engineering, and in your photo it gives a false impression of the horizon.

Ian, thank you for your interest and for viewing the photos! I was thinking the same about the water, but then, if we consider about the needs of the people, it's just part of life there. What to me is more impressing, is the hill on the right, (better to be seen in the other gallery). It looks as if giant children have been playing in the sandbox.
