Hi Giskoe, welcome!!! I'm glad you liked my photos!!! What you see in the picture is a river of lava product of the eruption of Niyeu Achen volcano, forming on the lake Epulafquen a landscape of overwhelming natural beauty and interest!!! On this river of lava the woods trying to win back the lost space... but given the difficulty encountered by the vegetation to grow on this ground, the trees do not gain size, becoming true natural bonsai!!! The Escorial or river of lava has a length of 7.5 kilometers, a maximum width of 2 kilometers and a minimum width of 100 feet, its limit is the water of Lake Epulafquen!!! From Google Earth it looks perfectly the path of the lava river and also how it entered the lake fan-shaped!!! It really is one of the most amazing landscapes I've seen in my life!!! Thanks for you kind visit, Like and Fav!!!

Friendly greetings from Patagonia Argentina, Toto
