Ernesto: Now when you say that I can see it too! You're right, the snow is faked!

Ernesto De Luca on August 3, 2007

The false is the moon.

Richard Ryer on August 3, 2007

Greetings Polytropos, Now both you and Ernesto have found me out. The only truth to the photograph is that it is faked. It was fun while it lasted.

Cheers,

Rich

False!!! I can't find a mistake in the seprating line between the cliff and the moon. The only thing that could by a mistake is that light is coming from the left side of the picture. But that could happen around sunset. There is another thing, the moon seems quiet big but I didn't think it was fake when I saw the moon this size.

Greetings Mohammed, Thank you my friend, but the sad truth is, the moon is put in after the mountain photo is taken. PhotoShop is a wonderful tool when you want to post process a photograph. Look at all the Mars Rover and Apollo pictures at NASA ;). Have a wonderful weekend and be safe.

Cheers,

Rich

Hello Richard. I think you should really see this picture, it is beautiful. But I don't know why I feel there is something unusual about it. Please see it and tell me your opinion. It is at the link The Picture

Hi Richard. This could be interesting for your night sky watches too: Google is offering an independent online version of "Google Sky" which doesn't requires Google Earth and without downloading or installing any other software.
