Matthew, that is such a cool shot, it was lovely to see it on Panoramic Earth. Thanks for putting it there. I love the b/w effect you have used, makes it very dramatic.

PTGui is quite good, has a steep learning curve. I have normally used Photovista from IseeMedia, which works well so long as all the images are the same with no tilt. PTGui is much more powerful and can create jpg or tif files.

Thanks Peter, I'm glad you like it! I was planning to go to Ludlow castle today and do something similar, but the weather has put that idea on hold.

It would be nice Matthew, if you could capture a panorama from each Castle, I know that you are not short of Castles in England ;)

I just uploaded my first panorama into Panoramic Earth

Amazingly (or not) this is the first Panorama uploaded from Portugal!

I will upload one or two more, that's what I have of perfect stitched Panos and I really want to maintain the quality standard.

I'm really keen to shoot some more now, but I have to get a better stitcher though.

Hi Vasco, great shot! I'd been thinking about the castle myself - I'm only a few miles from Warwick, Kenilworth, and a few others.
