Fishing for a response Tery?

Thanks Ippa - and a very Happy Easter to you! What does a typical Easter look like in Finland?

Here it is topped off with a fabulous Turkey (or sometimes ham) dinner. Looking forward to it - my daughters are doing all of the cooking, and they are exceptional at it!

I think that a typical Finnish Easter is covered in snow, Conrad. I'm not sure if I'm right, but the latest uploads of Ritva were still very white.

Hey Conrad :), yes Norrel is right about that! Within these Easter days the most of that snow has melted and roads & my car are not under heavy ice&snow any more :) I restarted my car today after loooooong winter :D

Mämmi is a typical Easter meal and another is lamb roast. And of course lots of chocolate eggs :)

Happy spring! Ippa

.... although I had some turkey and coat cheese instead of mämmi and lamb ;) Also baked a cake with strawberry jam, whipped cream, bananas and chocolate + small candy eggs on top.

Darn snow. I'm just recovering from our winter here, otherwise Ippa I'd be knocking on your door begging for a taste of all of that delectable fare!

The mammi sounds quite interesting.

I might pass on the coat cheese though. Even when I eat Brie I cut the white coat off. Too bitter.
