WOW! what a beautifull sunset Marilyn

Thanks for your comments. Some people on the dock where I waited were disappointed that the sun set behind a bank of clouds--and left. But you know and I know to stay around: you never can tell!!

That's right, we never know....and the sunset behind the clouds could be as beautifull as the one with no clouds!

Marilyn it's very rare for one to see dark storm clouds highlighted with such a fiery red (wonderful capture and you framed the lovely vista perfectly to boot )!

Many thanks, Pam. I was very glad that I happened to go down to the historic old dock to watch the sunset that night!

Cheers, Marilyn

Oh this is breathtaking! Just clicked "best of"!

Marilyn Whiteley on June 27, 2009

Belated thanks for that "best of." It's a Door County tradition to go down to the shore and watch the sunset, and sometimes the rewards are great!
