Why is this picture so surprising : An old majestic beech seems to reach the sky, because its trunk fills a third of the picture and breaks the lower and upper margin. The huge trunk is the black background for a Primula veris-Sleutelbloem / Schlüsselblume. The line of its stem would meet the end of the trunk in the central point outside the picture. But this stem with its fine hairs like fur, bears a yellow blossom like a sun. The composition of the picture makes the small flower a queen. Perfect!L! Kind regards, Hans
