I was stationed here from 1964 to 1967 with B Battery, 3rd BN, 17th Field Artillery. Looks a little differnt than it did in June of 1967. The parade field, NCO club, EM club and the motor pool are gone. Anybody out there from those days?
Please respond to SDjs390@aol.com
I was stationed here with 29th Chem Co. from June 1986 - June 1988. WW2 damage was still being repaired when I arrived in 86. Motor pool and clubs were still there when I left. Anyone from those days respond to firstname.lastname@example.org

Greetings everyone, RangerBob here a.k.a. Woody. I was stationed at merrell Barracks from 78 or 79 to 83, with the 71st. Man the old place is sure different, the gate is huge. Wish we had it back then. Was part of the Kaserne turned into a mueseum? Is it open to the public for tours? To the brothers and sisters I served with, God Bless You All. Thanks for being part of one of the best times in my life. To those troopers that came before and after we were there, Thanks for your service.
my grandfather was stationed in the Merell Baracks round about 55'. His name was Jesus Miramontes. We were looking for him for decents, but couldn't get a contact to him. Perhaps you might help us with any information you remember.
