Hello again Svetlana thank you for your comment. I was there in 2010 winter. To me, local people or tourists were not so much suffering from cold or snow. It is very professionally organized environment. There is bus transportation in nearly all other touristic destinations. Hope I was able to answer you question. Best wishes from Chicago :) Volkan

Svetlana, I just wanted to remind you that if you go there in winter (just like I did), there is a chance that just for 10 Turkish Lira (~6USD) you can stay in an crowded international cave and have a breakfast of your life :) Cheers, Volkan

Yes Asfur Summer must be peak season for foreign tourists. But I think Turkish tourists prefer going to Cappadocia in Spring or Fall to avoid hot summer there. Yes, prices must go back to normal once winter season is over. Hope you make it there and and save enough money for the Balloon Flight. Cheers from Chicago, Volkan
