Great! just look at the field diferences! so much green!! I think that this composition is not inferior to the other at all! Athough the other has some little details that I find stronger, like the better use of the shadows, the close up on the foreground fence detail, and the sensation of never ending landcape.

Fair comment. Seriously though, I actually think that scanned film has enormous potential for its aesthetic appeal. When I get around to it I am going to try out a film camera using some of the professional grade films that are available and see what can be achieved. On some of this old stuff however, the character various enormously and you always have to fiddle with it in Photoshop to get it right. I did not try to adjust the color in this shot hence the 'pre global warming' blues in the sky. You can also see a defect in the lens where it is slightly brighter toward the centre of the frame. Hence the falsified cloud formation.
If you are interested in Japanese photography I have just found somebody who is REALLY good.
