!! LOL!! Great presence of mind there Bitsy, I probably would have ducked !

Marbiz on April 12, 2010

I love Nawitka's comment! :)))) Did you? The duck probably got sick of you training your camera lens at it.

Marbiz on April 12, 2010

Hey Bits, I know that you know about everything that goes on on Pan ;)! So do you know why the date/time stamp does not show up on Extra Inf. any more?

Bits-n-Pieces on April 12, 2010

LOLOL Nawitka! I think you've provided a much better title than I had!

But M - lolol, you've picked up the gist of the first title I'd thought of here! Something along the line of the Sean Penn of the wood duck world, tired of that paparazza following him everywhere...

But I can't answer your question. Along with many others, I'm mystified at some of the current Panoramio glitches, like the weird paragraph formatting, and the partial exif info. I think it's mostly photos taken with Nikons that are missing the date/time. But in a way, it's nice to not have people be able to know if you stopped to take a photo when you should have been somewhere else :D

Bits-n-Pieces on April 12, 2010

Actually marbiz - it's strange, because while the date/time doesn't show for my shots, it's there on Guy's and Dianne's uploads. So I'm not sure why it doesn't show up for my photos.

Marbiz on April 12, 2010

Pano must be favouring Guy and Dianne then, because they have stopped showing on my Canon pics. I thought I was the odd one out! How's everything going over there? You must be glad to see Spring. We have just had one of our collest days today, the Winter woolleys are starting to come out. We have supposedly had over 123 days of over 20ºC temps here which is very unusual.

lol...I love it...very clever, and what a great shot!

Norrel on April 16, 2010

Spectacular shot, Bitsy. Chased this duck you around for miles and miles?

Bits-n-Pieces on April 17, 2010

Thanks Laurel, Ritva, and Norrel! Ha-ha, no, Norrel - he was actually chasing a girl duck here and I was just in the way....

not1word on April 22, 2010

Duck, duck, TREE! That's a mighty fine shot, Bits. I'll bet the duck was a bit miffed to see you in the flight line.

Conrad Nay on May 11, 2010

If a wood duck could duck wood, how much wood would a wood duck duck, if a wood duck could duck wood?

Bits-n-Pieces on May 12, 2010

LOLOL Conrad! Great minds think alike!!! :D !

Thanks!!! Hope things are going well for you these days!

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on May 14, 2010

Hiya bitsy...Well if all else fails you could always take to the stage ;>)) I'm certain that your brand of comedy would be a hoot, or maybe a quack!

That's a great shot and witty title too ;>)~~~~~jim

Bits-n-Pieces on May 20, 2010

LOL, Thanks Jim! But I have to be honest and give Nawitka the credit for the title! It hadn't even occurred to me.

Nawitka on May 20, 2010

:D the fun never stops around here!

Wonderful shot!My Dad had a license to raise game birds here on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington and since many are migratory, we were pretty much mobbed with birds. Friends dubbed the place "Slippery Acres". The Wood Ducks were very special-beautiful and sensitive.
