Maybe it maps the rise and fall of the Euro ~ now that is real Art :)))

Norrel on July 9, 2010

I hope the Euro will rise a little higher, Nick, since I'll have to pay my summer holidays in Pounds Sterling. I'm going to Scotland in two weeks.

Nick Weall on July 9, 2010

Well it is rising at the moment, but you missed your chance really ~ you should have purchased your sterling at the beginning of this year :))

Enjoy your trip ~ Sctoland is a great place :)

Hey Norrel - nice shot - I used to work near here for a while - in the Compaq distribution centre ! Small world :-)

Norrel on July 16, 2010

I know now, Nick. If I were a fortuneteller, I would have known it before ;>) I'll enjoy my holiday anyway.

Small world indeed, Neil. I don't live in Gorinchem, but I showed the nice old town to a friend from Canada.

Enjoy the holiday Norrel, and don't forget the midge cream :)))

We can make a deal, Norrel. I could change some Euros to Swiss Francs with you. Then with the Francs you'll have a better rate to the Pound.

Norrel on July 20, 2010

Thanks for warning me, Amelia!

I'm more worried about the midges than I am about the exchange rates, Poly.

Hm, in that case, pounds would be best. Pound bills are bigger sized than franc bills and therefore more practical to kill the midges.
