It's already 18 years ago when I went to this place. As a great jazz lover I really liked this place.
How is it after the great flood in 2005?
And well, now the people are confronted with a new catastrophe ...

I am glad you had the chance to see New Orleans before Katrina. My mother loved jazz as do I. She could not help dancing along whenever she heard it. Her favorite was Louie Armstrong. The French Quarter seems to be totally restored. We saw no remnants of Katrina's destruction. I cannot speak of the recovery of the rest of the city as we only went to the Quarter. We are all praying that the damage from the oil spill is minimal.

Greetings, Leo

Thank you, Petros.

The restoration of the French Quarter after Hurricane Katrina has come a long way.
