Goterei, Das Wetter war unglaublich im Sommer 2005 in Schottland, wolkenlos und sehr warm. Liebe Grüsse, May

I know this place May just over the burn north of Largs, but it still looks like a Tropical Silhouette, and a beautiful one too, If you had managed to get to Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre, you would find the esplanade lined with these trees. They transplanted a couple on the first Tee of Machrihanish Golf Club, and for a couple of months it looked like the Bahamas, till the trees shed their frowns all over the 1st fairway and the beach,:-(( scally.

Scally, thanks for the hint! I intended to go to Campbeltown, when I came down from Oban in 2008, but then it rained so much, that I didn't see much more than water and I decided to take the ferry from Dunoon to Largs, remembering this B&B, where I stayed in 2005. The outer hebrides, Mull of Kintyre are the places, I'd love to visit some day. Maybe, I'll travel by railway and ferries for a change. :)

Regards, May
