We got some decent clouds recently so I went back and re-shot my favorite tree in Moreno Valley, CA.

Nice Tom -- is that a 'lens baby' effect in the sky, or just blurring from the long exposure?

Either way, it makes for a cool picture!

Happy trails, Bruce

I like this framing

Bruce, that's just the effect of the long exposure. I metered at f22@1/4 sec, then put on a Hoya NDX400 9-stop ND filter and exposed for f22@24 sec.

Soberbio el contraste entre la quietud del árbol y el movimiento de las nubes. Un gran imagen. Y*.

Saludos. Hameli.

Wonderful photo!

This tree is actually located on land that use to be a watermelon farm that belonged to my husbands grandfather back in the late 40's to the mid 50's.

Thank you for capturing a great photo!
