The port of Cabedelo is the outer port of João Pessoa, capital of Paraíba. The TECAB (Terminais de Armazenagens de Cabedelo) furnished with seven storing tanks in the background is the exportation base of bio-ethanol produced by the refineries in the state. By the way, a boat in the foreground is a ferry between Cabedelo and Fagundes (Lucena) crossing the mouth of the Paraíba River, but it is not transporting a bus but only passengers. What a great idea!!!
カベデーロ港はパライーバの州都ジョアンペソアの外港。写真後方の７つのタンクは、同州で生産されたバイオエタノールの輸出基地（TECAB）。ブラジルはエタノールの輸出にきわめて熱心。なお、手前に見えるのは、パライーバ川河口を渡りカベデーロとその対岸を結ぶフェリーボート。バスを運んでいるのではない。超粗大ゴミ再利用の極致！ 2007年3月10日撮影。
