For centuries, this view was the sole property of the lord of those lands (who was - and still is - the Grimaldis, the ruling Monaco Family). Now it's open to everyone to enjoy that great view on Ferrette's outer limits, a place where houses are scatered here and there over those lovely gentle green hills. Doesn't it look like the Shire in "The lord of the rings" or a place straight out of a fairy tale ? (ah, those fairies !)
It's a really lovely view Philippe!!! I can even hear the song of the Elves!!! Congratulations on this tale landscape!!!
Friendly greetings and apologies for the delay in replying, I've been busy these last days, Toto

Beautiful landscape !
Best regards from Macedonia, Onosimoski B
Thanks White Wolf !
I'm not living in that town (that gets very cold in Winter BTW), but in a nearby valley, which is much warmer.
This one is located in the middle of an hills region called "The Sundgau" (sounds Swedish, doesn't it ?) while I'm living in the northern suburbs of the swiss city of Basel (but on the french side).
This is really a wonderful view!
Best wishes from Germany, Marianne
