Waldo! What a gallery! I hardly know which photo to comment on, there is so much beautiful work! So, I'll add you to my favorite photographers, and a Y* on this one for what looks like shear bravery! (What's the story on this?) Best wishes, pear
Hello * peargrin*. I covered myself with honey and put a box of Jelly Doughnuts out in a meadow ..... and all that showed up was the ghost of Elvis ! I was actually drinking a cup of coffee in my vehicle near a tourist lodge when this bear wandered across the road in front of me. He was a " dumpster bear " who lived near the lodge and was hit and killed by a delivery truck about 2 months after this photo was taken. The original photo has been altered ( clover roots removed from his mouth ) because it made him look like an extremely ferocious bear when in fact he was only 2 years old and did not have the skills to survive on his own. His mother had recently kicked him out because she had 2 new cubs to care for. Sad, but that is life in a nutshell !
I feel really bad after hearing this sad story.
Unfortunately Jo , it's the world we live in - a " Catch 22 " world unfortunately - are we photographers , or merely historians ? I prefer to think we are photographers who reflect their emotions in their images !
The world in which just about everything is wrong. :)
