Hi Mohammad and Ria, Thanks for your visit and kind comments. It was a beautiful spring evening to be by the river. I was hoping the full moon would rise while I was there but no luck. Perhaps tonight I will check it out again. Railroad bridge was damaged by a loose barge two years ago during flooding. Peace, Rod

Many thanks for your vist and kind words, domingo! It is a very important rail bridge linking Iowa and Illinois for the BNSF Railroad. This is the passenger (AMTRAK) route between Chicago and San Francisco. A very expensive project, changing a swing-span to a lift-span for better (wider) route for barges. Perhaps some engineers on Panaramio could enlighten us? Peace and best wishes from Burlington, IA, USA (on Mississippi River), Rod
