It seems, in the old days, salesman would come in and tack their business card to the bar and/or walls with a dollar bill. I guess the owner liked the idea because today the walls are full, the shelves are full too, and the windows are filled with bottles stuffed with money.
Really an amazing little place isn't it? Loved the saddles made into barstools. Nicely captured.
It is great to see the place still there. I worked and lived there in 1979. I remember the cards and bills! Not that many though. The population was 6 back then!
Hi Patty. I got a tremendous kick of of this place too, and I brought my pictures to the New York City restaurant called Tortilla Flats. Thanks for the efforts it took to get to this photo as it was not selected by Google Earth so your finding it is a great compliment in itself.
