28.Aug.1987. Triesenberg (Tresabärg), one of the villages of the Principality of Liechtenstein (German: Fürstentum Liechtenstein; Alemannisch: Förschtatum Liachtaschtä). The Liechtenstein is one of the smallest independent countries in the world; area 160 km² (62 sq mi), about 24 km (15 miles) long, from north to south; population 34,000. It is bordered by Switzerland to its west, along the Upper Rhine river, and by the Alps of Austria to its east. The capital is Vaduz (pop. 5,300). The official language is German, but the spoken language is Alemannisch or Alemannic German. Most people follow the Roman Catholic faith. The population enjoys one of the world's highest standards of living.

Francisco Santos: Maravilha de foto e belíssima paisagem num país de uma beleza total que de muito Portugal também tem: Beleza natural. Tenho várias fotos da Suissa e de Liechtenstein e várias, algumas, mal marcadas do local preciso no mapa. Se lhe for possível e se conhecer, muito agradeço a sua correcção. MJM
