What a fascinating profession yours must be. I guess that you must be posed with some dilemnas when it comes to what should be the balance between "restoration" and "conservation". Was there a figure occupying this niche originally? Was it removed for some reason subsequently? The juxtaposition of the flint and sandstone is a very pleasing effect. Keep up the good work! John G.
