Hi, I have a question (that's more a personal curiosity): I was reading the story of Saint Helens collapse and watching around in GMaps I saw this huge amount of "things" that later I realised being logs. Are these logs for timber purposes or the result of the debris flow after the eruption of the volcano?
Thank you for your comment. That is a good question. I refer you to this other photo where I answered a similar question. It really is a interesting and beautiful place.
I read your explanation and I found astonishing the whole fact and those logs still floating there after more than 30 years. The other photo gives the real idea and feeling.
