Sigh oh to have a city like that to take pictures of! (but on a positive note I can walk to work in 5 minutes.... (trying to make myself feel better here ;).
It took my friend 10min to get to work as-well, just across the bridge lol.
But if you have to drive out of downtown it can take hours to get home... Calgarians in general cannot drive. Often in bumper-to-bumper traffic people will pull into an intersection even when they know it the light is about to change, blocking traffic in the other direction. I've even seen buses do it...lol. To do that in Vancouver would get you yelled at and increase the chances of being shot at lol.
The best choice thus is to walk or bike the paths along the river or take the C-Train.
Figures your friend would also be so lucky (but I did note you aren't mentioning your travel time ;).
If you don't like the drivers in Calgary avoid Moose Jaw (we have retired farmers that have never learned what a stop sign or cross walk were designed for). However rush hours are thankfully unknown here. :) I agree about Vancouver (sad to see it's gotten so dangerous there).
The last time we were in Calgary was the first time I saw the tracks for the C-Train. Until then I wasn't aware of it's existence.
By the way do you know the names of the place(s) in Alberta that everyone loves purchasing their digital cameras at? (excellent prices)
I've seen references to an in-store shop and an online one.
Nope... My Canon is from Futureshop, good service policy.
Something important to keep in mind ;) I'll have to check and see what Regina has in stock.
Thank you so much again and off to bed am I!
Good night Brant! :)
