Why on earth would someone put this in Google Earth???

Why on earth would someone put their name on a comment like that?

And I like this photo. This is an actual welded gutterpipe, something we don't see around here, at least not any more.

Thomas, I don't have any idea. Someone didn't upload this wonderful photo. I did. And if you are asking me directly, then the answer is because it is here, right in this spot where I mapped it. You may stand on this spot and take your own photo if you don't like mine.

But a better question is: now that you have complained, do you feel better about yourself as a person? My guess is that you do not. That's too bad. Surely you have something better to do with your time, something better to complain about, in a forum where your voice might actually make a difference.

Just for you, I'm going to return to this building someday, and photograph each and every gutter pipe coming down these walls, and upload all of them.

Thank you Nawitka. It's not something very common around here either, except in this historic part of campus. The red brick buildings surrounding the quad are all called "Red Campus", and are all designed in a very similar style.

Cheers, Ryan

Hahahahahahahaaha!!!

I didn't expect to see this entertaining discourse when I clicked on this photo. I clicked on it because I really liked it. It is an interesting image and a great addition to your diverse gallery. I am jealous, actually!
