Missouri??

Nice!

Yes, Missouri! And clearly visible on the satellite as well!

These are the original front columns of Academic Hall, the only thing left after it burned down in 1892. Now they form the iconic image of the University of Missouri, used on billboards, T-shirts, and letterhead. I tried to pick a new angle.

Thanks, Marilyn!

I like this photo, Ryan. An interesting perspective! May

Thanks, May!

Actually...sitting on the base of the fourth column were two Indian guys watching me, but making no effort to get out of the way. I took several different angles, but to take this one, I had to lay flat on my back with my feet going up a little hill.

There were a couple of Chinese girls as well, with a camera also, taking very standard smile-and-click shots. But as I was leaving, I glanced back and saw one of them laying down in the grass with her camera also!

It was certainly worthwile taking this trouble. It would be interesting to see the Chinese girl's picture, to see, if she got it like this as well. Greetings, May
