Actually this is not an old Fezko factory. This is the house of Kochan ( Cochanius, Kochanius )family. Valentin Kochan was one of the 27 Czech noblemen executed June 21st 1621 on Prague's Old Town Square for rebellion against Habsburg monarchy.

This building is one of the oldest in Strakonice (1620). The house No. 131/I stands on Na ostrově (On the island)and is on Kochana z Prachové street. It was formerly the house of the founders of Fezko Messrs. Zucker and Fürth. Later used as offices for the company. The reliefs show God´s eye with sunbeams and figures of Neptune and Mercury. Sadly now falling into decay.
