Great shot Ian. Greetings Berend

Perhaps it is ready for a calendar, Jeff. Rural scenes remind me of the world in which I lived as a child.

Thanks Berend.

Beautiful picture of this rural scenery, Ian! The landscape reminds of the Bavarian Alps. Greetings, Anne

Ian Stehbens on May 20, 2010

Warmest greetings, dear Anne.

The geomorphology of South Island is very similar to Bavaria. It is quite a bit warmer here in the winter, though. I imagine the large shearing shed looks a little out of Bavaria - should be a multi-spired castle instead!

Beautiful lanscape!

Greetings, Maria.

Dear Maria,

There is a photo in the top right of this panorama, but I so loved the landscape that I wanted to show it in its breadth, as well. It is a picturesque rural area.

Warmest regards from Brisbane. Ian

If I had time, I could comment on every single one of your New Zealand images, Ian. But instead I'll just pause here on the tour and breathe in the fresh air! Thank you for refreshing me.

Ian Stehbens on May 25, 2010

With rural roots like yours, Marilyn, this is a very good place to pause and soak it in. I am very honoured to be able to share my images with you and to learn from your responses and your comments over and above the direct learning from your gallery.

Thanks for your sharing.

I have run out of adjectives to praise your beautiful works, Ian. Gotta flip through my dictionary to find the right vocab.

Regards, Ah-Pong

Ian Stehbens on May 28, 2010

I am very happy if you reuse the old ones, Ah-pong, but more than that I am really grateful for your friendship, encouragement and appreciation that you share through this forum. So thanks for uploading your images and experiences, and thanks for engaging with my images.
