Thanks, Alex and Ann. I was pleased with it but I hadn't thought of posting it until I was putting some boat photos on the forum.

Would I do that? You might, but would I? Anyway thanks, Bruce. It's nice to think that I may still have some good shots tucked away on my computer.

Wonderful!!! VERY nice! P.S. The name of this ship is Gleb Krzhizhanovsky.

Thanks to all of you. And special thanks to Usama for the name of the ship. I shall add it to my travel diary from September 2006.

Not at all ;)

Some additional information: This ship was named after Gleb Maximillianovich Krzhizhanovsky - Russian economist and Soviet statesman.

Thanks for the additional information. We were told the name - once - but it was much too much for me to remember. And we were told nothing about who he was.

Hi Marilyn. Beautiful shot! Greetings from St. Petersburg :) Julia

Hi Julia. St. Petersburg is a fascinating and beautiful city. We spent one more day there than most people taking the river boats do, but it was still certainly not long enough! Marilyn
