He is a red Scottish Highland bull. There are not so many of those in Switzerland. He put out his tongue at the right moment, which I think, looks really funny.
That sounds interesting John! What kind of sheepdogs have you got in Canada? I mean, I know that everything is bigger in the new world, but that big? :-))
But yes, probably he could keep off a bear or wolf, if they don't come in a pack.

Nick, though he looks Scottish, he is Swiss. Last summer I was on a big tour around Scotland, but I have seen more Highland cattle in Switzerland than in Scotland. :) May
We used to some some in North Dorset too you know - they must run away from Scotland ~ can't blame them really!
