At 2068 m, this is the highest situated tourist hut with sleeping quarters in Norway.
The view here is stunning, but unfortunately the summit has foggy conditions 230 days ech year, statistically.
Hi Sneeman,I love the touch of warmth in the monochrome landscape. Cheers. Pamela
Snemann, I would love to spend time in this place, even with the fog. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for all your comments, michael!
If you enjoyed this hike and are ever in western Canada I think you would also enjoy the hike thought Abbot’s Pass between the provinces of Alberta & British Columbia.
Abbot Pass alpine hut: This hut straddles the Continental Divide on the border of Alberta and British Columbia. The hut is run by the Canadian Alpine Club, the highest elevation permanently inhabited building in Canada (2805m), and between fabled Lake O'Hara and Chateau Lake Louise.
Great lighting in this one.
Soft of sunlight, make this ice snow world feel warm with sweet.
