This elaborate medieval clock tower with moving puppets once served as the western gate of the city. It was rebuilt after the 1405 fire and for
a time it served as a prison for prostitutes. The clock was put in 1527-30 and was made by Caspar Brunner.
This square is always crowded at four minutes to the hour when the mechanical figures start their round. The show ends with a crowing rooster.

I've seen an other Astronomical Clock at Prague where you can find some links for info in the first comment. Also for this clock at Bern you can find in the German Wikipedia info, picture and also a movie - so even if you don't understand German language you can find the movie there ...
