This it how loneliness looks like, in the AT/GER Alps you can hardly find such a wonderful place.

I know what you mean Herr Sonstiges, this pass must be one of the least visited in French Alps. Well, the next day the Tour de France was here, so there would be lot of crowd present, I saw already some of them camping and waiting for it.

Great landscape with good contrast and supernatural colors, Juha - Sunpixx must be your 'brother' :-)))

All the best, Bernd

Juha Rimpiläinen on June 17, 2010

Bernd - LOL! It's true that Sunpixx has many same elements in his (actually I don't know if I should say his or her...) gallery, obviously we share many same interests, but it's funny that you point this out. Thanks for your nice comment!

Sunpixx on June 17, 2010

It's his gallery Juha :-) I just can agree, it's very interesting how we take similary photos - on different places.

Greetings Sunpixx

Vielen Danke Elmokula! My German is a little rusty, so I'll switch to English. The pipes don't fit into the scenery but many high water sources in the Alps are connected to the water systems used for the cities below the mountains - as you must know as a regular visitor (or maybe you are living around there?) to the Alps. I can see from your photos that you know about these places...

Best regards from Finland!
